there’s so much cruelty in this fandom in different forms and it’s honestly so sickening. whether it’s homophobia, transphobia, racism, anti semitism, or islamophobia. and it’s kind of normalized. i still remember those screenshots from last year from that one group blog and how they were casually making bigoted comments and not understanding the damage they caused people. and how every couple weeks, people receive bigoted anons but because it happens so often, people scroll by. i really think we, as a fandom, need to look out for each other and protect each other. we need to make sure that people know that, that behavior is not acceptable because lot of bigoted people are comfortable in this fandom
